This monograph analyzes the historiography of social life in the southern regions of Uzbekistan, as well as issues related to social conditions, on the basis of official state documents, sources presented in scholarly literature, and archival materials. Drawing on specific factual evidence, the author examines the social life of Uzbekistan and the related problems from 1946 to 2021, with particular reference to the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions. The monograph is intended for historians and researchers, history teachers working at all levels of the continuing education system, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as anyone interested in the history of Uzbekistan.
