Monografiya.com takes your personal data seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What we collect

We collect the following from you:

  • On signup: name, email, password (hashed).
  • For the author profile: academic title, institution, bio, social links (if provided).
  • Orders and payments: list of books, total (card numbers are stored by Payme, we don't see them).
  • Technical: IP address, browser type, usage log (for security).

How we use data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Manage your account and fulfil orders.
  • Notify you about new publications and important updates (with your consent).
  • Improve the platform and ensure security.

Sharing

We share data with third parties only when necessary:

  • Payment systems (Payme, Click) — to process payments.
  • Technical providers (hosting, email delivery) — under confidentiality agreements.
  • Authorities — if required by law.

The site uses cookies for convenience and analytics. Disabling cookies in your browser may break some features.

Your rights

Your rights:

  • View and edit your personal information in your account.
  • Delete your account entirely (anonymisation).
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails.
  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you.

Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Card data isn't stored on our side. Connections are protected by HTTPS.

Retention

We keep data while your account is active. After deletion — fully removed within 30 days (except logs required by law).

Changes

We'll notify you in advance if this policy changes. Material changes — by email.
