
The Artistic Word and Landscapes of the Human Spirit
This monograph explores the essay genre, one of the least studied phenomena in contemporary literary studies, and examines its developmental trends through the works of prominent Uzbek essayists such as Sh. Kholmirzayev, P. Qodirov, I. Gafurov, and G. Khotamov. In addition, Uzbek essay writing is comparatively analyzed alongside the works of leading Western essayists. The monograph also focuses on the psychology of artistic creativity, an essential component of the contemporary literary process. This issue is examined through the works of distinguished writers Kh. Do‘stmuhammad, N. Eshonqul, U. Hamdam, and A. Ayyub. Furthermore, the study discusses significant research issues currently shaping Uzbek literary scholarship and contributing to ongoing academic debates. Overall, the monograph is devoted to the study of the psychology of the contemporary literary process.
